Retardation of the concrete initial set time up to 24 hours and even more, allowing easy operation & compaction, also in hot weather. ·
Fields of application
1- Joint-free concreting without the formation of cracks due to shrinkage; that's why it is used in dams, bridges & swimming pools.
2- Admixture for concrete pumping & ready mixed concrete and mix in site, concrete transporting for longer distance, especially in warm weather.
3- Fulfilling the Slip Form by CONTROLING the setting between morning and night shifts, winter and summer. ·
Dosage
0.5- 1.5 % (Up to more than 3% in the special cases) of the cement weight depending on the desired retardation & conditions. (Contact our technical office for the special cases.) |
